hiding in my room, hiding behind a screen, hiding behind my gel extension nails (nails are everything, you know?). hiding behind sunglasses while crying because thats what i do best these days is having chaotic breakdowns.
i feel i’m in much the same place. it feels hopeless, but then i hear Lenny Kravitz singing “baby it ain’t over til it’s over” and i know he’s right. so many times i thought it was the end, and here i am, better than ever. the You that you want to be is there, waiting for you, and the light at the end of the tunnel, when you see it, is coming from her. ⭐
thank you 🥺 ill have to listen to that song! lately ive been listening to a lot of la dispute (the lyrics are so poetic but also pretty dark lol), a lot of these post hardcore bands got me through 17 during my other extreme bout of depression so im just retreating to old ways. i hope we both see the light at the end of the tunnel soon 🔮
I’m a good bit older than you both, I think. Sometimes, it’s not that things get easier as much as you learn how to deal with them. You both already are. I’m at one of the worst times in my life, and I have to let that little bit of logic and memory come through all my negative feelings.
